Tullan Strand: Beautiful tarmac coastal cliff walk overlooking the ocean leads you from Tullan Strand to Bundoran Beach. Tullan Strand is well known for Surfing, walking and horse riding. This beach is not safe for swimming. Bundoran is a 15minute drive from Creevy Pier.
Bundoran Beach: Another beautifaul beach in the heart of Bundoran, awarded Ireland Blue Flag and enjoyed by surfers and swimmers alike. This beach benefits from Beach LifeGuards in the summer season. Bundoran is a 15minute drive from Creevy Pier.
Castle Adventure Open Farm – 5 min drive from Creevy Pier

Trail one (longer) is accessed to right as you walk up the Creevy Pier Hotel Ramp. The second trail behind the cottages is accessed by the small car park when walking towards the pier on your right hand side.

Welcome to the Creevy Coastal Walk. Experience one of Ireland’s most beautiful coastal walking routes along the Wild Atlantic Way. The 4.5km “Kildoney Loop” starts and finishes at Creevy Pier. Head west along the stunning coastline taking in Kildoney point and on to the Barr House before looping around the scenic country roads and Gillespie’s Lane, linking back onto the coastal trail and returning to the pier. Also, walk eastward from the Pier to the “Killbarron Castle Viewpoint” and take in the stunning views of Donegal Bay and the ruins of the medieval castle. (Please note Kilbarron Castle is not accessible.)
Experience the panoramic views over Donegal Bay to Sliabh Liag, St. John’s Point and across to Mullaghmore. Enjoy the flora and fauna, the sights and sounds of the maritime life – our feathered friends flying overhead or perhaps spot a pod of dolphins surfacing from below. Take a dip at the pier, or warm up with a treat at the Creevy Pier Hotel afterwards.
Please note;
A moderate level of fitness is required for this trail. Suitable footwear and appropriate clothing are recommended. You will be crossing active farm lands with the kind permission of the landowner. It is important to exercise caution and respect farm animals and the land. No dogs are permitted on this trail. Leave no Trace. Exercise caution at cliff edges, slopes and mind the traffic along road section. Embrace the Wild Atlantic way of life, enjoy the Creevy Experience.

This coastal trail is enabled by the kind permission of landowners. You will be entering working farmland and must beware of and respect the livestock.
Uneven surface, soft ground and loose stone – suitable foot wear recommended.
Beware of Cliff edge and steep slopes.
Country roads for 1.7km. Please be aware of vehicles and other road users.
