Welcome to the Creevy Coastal Walk. Experience one of Ireland’s most beautiful coastal walking routes along the Wild Atlantic Way. The 4.5km “Kildoney Loop” starts and finishes at Creevy Pier. Head west along the stunning coastline taking in Kildoney point and on to the Barr House before looping around the scenic country roads and Gillespie’s Lane, linking back onto the coastal trail and returning to the pier. Also, walk eastward from the Pier to the “Killbarron Castle Viewpoint” and take in the stunning views of Donegal Bay and the ruins of the medieval castle. (Please note Kilbarron Castle is not accessible.)

Experience the panoramic views over Donegal Bay to Sliabh Liag, St. John’s Point and across to Mullaghmore. Enjoy the flora and fauna, the sights and sounds of the maritime life – our feathered friends flying overhead or perhaps spot a pod of dolphins surfacing from below. Take a dip at the pier, or warm up with a treat at the Creevy Pier Hotel afterwards.
